These terms are short and honest, in the product's own voice. They're not legal armor — they describe the deal.
PhotoDove moves photos and videos from one phone to another, at full quality, end-to-end encrypted, and then deletes them from the clouds within the hour. No accounts, no pairing, no storage.
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and to meet the app store's age rating for PhotoDove. There are no accounts, and PhotoDove is not directed at children.
What you send is delivered unchanged and then truly deleted — the moment it has landed everywhere it was sent, usually within minutes, and within the hour whether it lands or not. The one exception: a download already in flight when the hour strikes is allowed to finish, never more than about thirty minutes past it — we don't cut a landing dove out of the sky. We can't read your content, and we don't keep it.
You keep every right to what you send. To move a transfer we hold your encrypted files briefly and only for that purpose. We never use your content to train anything, never sell it, never advertise against it — and being encrypted, we couldn't if we wanted to.
Only send content you have the right to send, to people who want to receive it. Because we cannot see what you transfer, this responsibility is yours. Illegal content — including any sexual content involving minors — is absolutely forbidden. A transfer can be reported to us — from its receipt in the app, for up to 3 days after it lands, or by email at we@remagine.one — reporting freezes it and deletes anything still in the clouds, its minimal coordination record is kept for up to 7 days from the report (see the privacy page), and we cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
You may set a name that travels with your transfers, and a label for a single transfer. Both are sealed inside the encrypted transfer — we cannot read them, and we do not verify them: a name is what someone typed, not proof of who they are. Do not use them to impersonate anyone, and do not put anything in them you would not put in the transfer itself. A recipient can report a transfer, including its name, before or after accepting it; a reported transfer is frozen and deleted.
Some capabilities (such as sending to several recipients or sending video) may require a paid upgrade, always purchased by the sender. Receiving is always free. Every privacy and deletion guarantee is identical whether or not you pay.
Premium is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms govern the payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account, and refunds are handled by the store, not by us. If you are an EU/EEA consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use a Premium feature right away you ask for immediate delivery and accept that this right no longer applies once you have.
PhotoDove is offered as-is. It's a young product; we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and because we delete everything quickly by design, we can't recover a transfer that failed or expired — ask the sender to send it again.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms. If we change them, we'll update the date above.
